In design, both function and manufacturability matter. We clarify the critical dimensions of the finished part, the required surface quality, clamping and the production rate.

It is worth considering how many parts should be produced per stroke. If multiple parts are produced at the same time, productivity increases; if only one part is produced, the tooling cost may be lower.

The goal of maintenance is predictable production and stable quality. We also provide regular maintenance for the sheet metal forming tools we manufacture, which can typically extend tool life, reduce scrap and help avoid unexpected downtime.
We also provide maintenance and refurbishment of tools from other manufacturers: replacement of wear parts, sharpening, adjustment, checking of fits, and identifying the causes of inaccuracies.
